Funding Grant Awarded!

Following a recent site visit by Suzie Paton - Head of Grants & Ruth Turner - Project Manager for The Owl Collaboration,

we were awarded a generous grant totalling £3,000 by the The Ernest Cook Trust - one of the UK’s foremost providers and funders of outdoor learning.

The Trust collaborates with organisations who share their values and vision, enabling them to reach more children and young people, particularly those in areas of deprivation.

By sharing assets, experience and specialist knowledge, these collaborations work towards the common goal of encouraging a more environmentally engaged society.

We will be using this grant to purchase some equipment for our new Wild Camping site which will introduce more local children to the "wonders of nature" and the great outdoors.

We hope to open this new facility for the summer of 2023. Watch this space!

Rotary Club Donation

We recently had a visit from Yvonne Mayer and Paul West from Doncaster Rotary Club.

They presented us with a cheque for £200 to spend on developing our site and resources.

We were delighted to show them round and look forward to hosting some groups supported by them in future.
